"Of course I want to win"
After the two victories in California and Texas Daniela Ryf took a little break. She spent most of May at home in Solothurn regenerating and training. Now the batteries are full again, and with the 70.3-Ironman in Rapperswil Ryf is ready for the next form test. "As always, I'm looking forward to my home race. Especially because my fans and my family are here," says Daniela Ryf. On the demanding track, the 32-year-old wants to gather more competition experience and show a good race.
"Of course I want to win, that's always my goal," says Ryf, for whom Rapperswil is a special affair – after all, her career was really launched here. Daniela Ryf then travels directly to St. Moritz for four months of altitude training. Here she continues to work on her form and wants to reach "the next level", as she says. In the Oberengadin, she will work hard and always keep her long-term goal in mind: The Ironman in Hawaii.

"I am very disappointed"
Daniela Ryf finishes the Ironman World Championship 2022 in Kona in eight place. "Of course, this is not the result I was hoping for."
