Joint Initiative for strengthening Swiss Triathlon
Talented young Swiss triathletes will benefit from a new initiative implemented at the Triathlon & Duathlon Performance Center Solothurn. Together with the Spirit Academy and Swiss Triathlon, a combination of resources and infrastructure will create a regional performance center committed to developing athletes.
The new initiative launched today at the Triathlon & Duathlon Performance Center Solothurn (TLS) incorporates multisport training within the school academic program, providing young athletes with optimal training while also committing to their academic development. The objective is to secure and expand Switzerland’s strong position in multisport for the long term.
The establishment of the TLS, which is recognized as a junior center of excellence by Swiss Triathlon, brings together three key partners; TLS, Swiss Triathlon and Spirit Academy.
As an incubator of multisport in Switzerland, the Spirit Academy supports the development of centers of excellence. It is expected that with the commitment of top athletes such as Nicola Spirig and Daniela Ryf, the number of talented young multisport athletes will grow.

The 36-year-old from Solothurn and ten-time Ironman and Ironman 70.3 world champion wants to devote herself to new projects in the future.
