Daniela Ryf nominated for 2018 Swiss Sportswoman of the Year Award
Daniela Ryf, Ironman world champion, has been nominated for Swiss Sportswoman of the Year 2018, the country's most prestigious sporting award.
If she wins, it will be the second time Daniela has achieved this honour, after receiving the award in 2015.
Daniela is one of six female Swiss athletes nominated, including Michelle Gisin, Jeannine Gmelin, Wendy Holdener, Mujinga Kambundji and Léa Sprunger.
The Swiss public will vote for their favourite athlete during the televised event held in Zurich on 9 December.
The event also raises funds for the Swiss Sports Aid Foundation.
